Thursday, September 14, 2006 - Here's the Deal

I'm thinking what I'll do, at least for the moment, is turn this blog into a weekly thing. I'll do a roundup of what's been going on for me writing-wise on the week and I'll do all of my blog writing on one particular day (probably Sunday, since those tend to be extremely lazy for me) and then post whatever I may have written (whether it's one post, five, or none) throughout the rest of the week. So, that means you're guaranteed some Cavan-y goodness on Sundays, at the very least. Stay tuned.

Monday, September 11, 2006 - I'm Not Dead. Honestly.

Actually, my internet connection had been out for close to three weeks. There were many, many calls made out to my ISP (the most effective of which were performed by my roommate - I seem to lack the ability to yell loud enough to get my way). Finally got connected again this morning, though, so here I am.

All this time without blogging, though, has made me ponder whether I should keep up with it. For me, the best thing about blogging is the ability to interact with one's readers and, frankly, it's been months since I've had any sort of regular readership. Even getting fifty hits a day and, say, two comments would be enough, but I haven't been near those levels since May.

Furthermore, I'm approaching the 500 post mark (not including the year I spent over at BraveJournal) so, as you might imagine, at some point or another I've covered almost every writing related topic that's important to me. So, if I do decide to come back, it'll have to be in a more regimented form, where I do certain things on certain days (like Flood's Game Thursday or S.L. Viehl's Ten Things, though I can't quite remember which day she does that on). Anyhow, I'll be mulling all of this over for the next few days and try to come up with something.
