The Rare School Post

Generally, I only blog about school when I'm trying to avoid schoolwork. This is because a) it's not a terribly entertaining subject as most people have been there, done that and b) I still feel like I'm doing something productive, even though it's really not. Of course, I could wash all those dishes that have piled up in my sink over the last couple weeks of midterms. But that would be too easy. And then I'd have to wash the dishes.

The paper I'm working on is due tomorrow afternoon, so essentially I've got the entirety of tonight, which will probably end up stretching to three or four in the morning.

Registration for the summer session opened up yesterday so, since I'm behind a couple of credits due to a program change and the fact that I dropped a full year course, I've decided to take a couple of classes to catch up. One of them looks to be quite interesting - it's a class called Utopian Fiction. The biggest upside of this class is that I'll finally get around to reading Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four. The fact that I haven't already has to be some sort of cardinal sin for any science fiction author, so I'll be glad to rectify the situation.

Anyhow, back to Measure for Measure for the time being.
