State of the Blog Address
One year, four months on (including the Bravenet days), I've been thinking that this blog might be getting a little stale. This isn't to say I don't enjoy writing in it - I do, as much as I ever have, but it seems to me that, essentially, it's become a book and movie review site with the occasional remark about publishing and writing. Not that that's bad, but I'd like to expand my horizons a little bit.
So, starting in September, I've decided to have a monthly theme for the blog. I have a few ideas already, but I imagine that anyone out there who reads this could probably come up with some, too.

Just ditch the two-line movie reviews and copy/paste plot summary and star list. If you're going to review a movie, put some effort into it, otherwise don't give it a whole post on it's own. But that's just my opinion.
I had decided once to do a "theme of the week" for my blog, each based on the four major "lands" that are at Disneyland: adventure, fantasy, tomorrow, frontier. This would give me an entire month of bloggity goodness to write about.
Turns out, I couldn't keep the theme going... even for just a week. I can't imagine having to stick to a single theme for an entire month! So I wish you better luck than I had!
