Weekend Features
I realize this might be a little ironic, considering the nature of my last post, but due to waning popularity I'll be suspending Saturday's SF Read of the Week and Sunday's Weekly Writing Challenge.
However, I'll continue to make mention of any great shorts I read, though you probably shouldn't expect anything approaching a weekly regularity. Likewise, I plan to retain the writing challenges, but will be doing them on a monthly basis, as opposed to weekly.

If only I were a talented enough writer to enter a Writing Challenge. :-(
I think the problem is that the Weekly Writing Challenges fall off the front page too quickly, so they don't get the coverage they deserve. Maybe if you could figure out how to keep them sticky on the front page through the week, that would help... Just a thought :)
If you hadn't guessed, it's my favourite section of your blog, and keeps my old grey cells working. I'll go senile and end up in a huddle under a bridge if these go monthly.
It'll all be your fault. I just hope you can live with the guilt :)
And dave2 - Go on. Submit one. You can, I know you can. Talent is just a measurement of persistence. They more you do, the better you'll get. Trust me.
Word verification definition: "sewrmapr" - person who produces maps of underground watercourses and posts them on flickr.
Dave - What greywulf said. Submit! What I wouldn't give for Papal Dave's ultimate showdown against the Bad Monkey...
Greywulf - Every time I pass your bridge, I'll pass you a few stale donuts. That should alleviate my guilt.
Fear not, though, the new writing challenge will be permanently visible, since I'm getting a new layout soon.
